Hello, divine friend!
You know, I am always grateful for reminders from the Universe of lessons previously learned. I find that I can be forgetful. Are you that way? I’ll spend whatever time it takes learning a lesson and then — could be weeks, months or years later — I’ll return to living as though I’d never learned it to begin with. So. I am always grateful for reminders from the Universe. And I found myself presented with just such a reminder today.
I awoke to the most beautiful email in my inbox. It was an email from one of you, thanking me for facilitating The Bliss Revolution and telling me just how much it means. While I have before received thank you Tweets and comments on the Facebook page, this was the first bona fide email. It was so powerful. Reading those words brought tears to my eyes as I realized that yes – I am making a difference! I am connecting with people! I am bringing love and light and BLISS into the world! I was overcome with gratitude and love. It was the most perfect way to wake up. :D
After a few hours of moving through my day, BEAMING at high intensity, I received another email from a Bliss Revolutionary. By the way — two in one day! This is unheard of and seriously super fantastic. :D This email reflected (with blessings and light) the Revolutionary’s feelings that we send too many messages throughout the day and that she or he needed to unfan us on Facebook due to information overload.
My initial reaction — as one who has spent many years practicing letting go of a conditioned need to please people — was a feeling of sadness and failure. I was distraught that the Revolution was not meeting this Revolutionary’s needs. Thoughts began to swirl within me: How many other Revolutionaries feel this way? I thought I wasn’t posting enough — am I really posting too much? If I get one email at one end of the spectrum and one at the other — in the same day, even — how can I make it perfect for everyone?
Aha. Well, that’s it, isn’t it? I’m pleased to say this process happened much more quickly than it has previously happened. I absolutely cannot please everyone. I mean, when I look at it realistically, I will be lucky if I can please a majority of people at any given time, nevermind all of them all the time! The only authentic way to live, truly, is to do that which you think is right. That which pleases you.
After further contemplation, I decided the only way to proceed was as my most authentic self. And I decided, most authentically, that, to me, the purpose of The Bliss Revolution is to be as constantly present as possible in your life. We are here so you feel loved and supported all the time. As such, I think any number of messages I feel inclined to send throughout the day are appropriate.
I was sorry to lose that amazing person from the incredible group we have become. But I appreciate her or his grace. And I am so grateful to the Universe for the perfectly timed reminder that we are all the center of our own spectacular miniverses. That is as it should be. These divine miniverses overlap and intermingle to create the awesomeness that is the Universe. And it is the Universe that unites us as One.
